THE RIGLINE STORY
Born on the road. Built for those who live on it.
If you’ve ever driven a truck long enough, you know it’s more than just a job. It becomes your life. Your truck is your home, your partner, your second skin. And for us, trucking wasn’t just a career — it was our identity.
We’ve spent more than a decade behind the wheel, hauling cargo across provinces, states, and borders. Ten years of diesel mornings, sleepless nights, eating from truck stops, and counting every mile to home. Over the years, we saw the industry grow. Trucks got more powerful, cabins got more tech, but somehow, the basic stuff was still being overlooked.
And one thing we could never ignore — the floor beneath our feet.
Where it all started.
We never thought we'd build a brand. We just thought we’d find the right truck mats somewhere. But trip after trip, truck after truck, all we found were poor-quality mats, household rugs cut to shape, or oversized rubber sheets that didn’t fit and made the cabin look worse.
Some drivers tried to go the custom route — visiting local shops, getting their truck measured, and waiting weeks just to get something "kind of okay." Most of us just settled for what was available.
It might seem like a small thing — floor mats — but if you spend 12–14 hours a day in your truck, for weeks at a time, you know: comfort, fit, and cleanliness matter. And most importantly — respect matters.
And it felt like nobody respected the trucker’s needs enough to solve this problem.
We did. So we got to work.
We didn’t come from a product design background. We weren’t engineers or industrial designers. But we knew the roads. We knew what mattered in a truck. And we knew what truckers go through—especially in the harsh winters of Canada or the muddy backroads of the Midwest and Northeast USA.
So we began. Not with machines or factories, but with a notebook full of ideas, sketches on rough paper, and a simple belief:
“Let’s build floor mats that feel like they belong in trucks.”
The first year was all research. We spoke to hundreds of truckers — from single-rig owners to major fleet managers across Canada and the United States. We met with manufacturers, tested all kinds of materials, and learned everything from molding to grip and water resistance.
It was expensive. It took time. It was full of failures. But we didn’t cut corners. Not once.
We made prototypes. Installed them ourselves. Measured down to the last millimeter. Because when you’re hauling across Alberta, Texas, or Pennsylvania — you can’t afford to be uncomfortable.
The turning point.
We remember it like yesterday. We installed our early version of the mat into a Canadian driver's Peterbilt. He stepped in, looked down, and said:
"This looks like it was made by someone who actually drives."
That was the moment it clicked. We weren’t just solving a problem — we were creating something that finally respected the trucker.
From there, the word spread. Truckers from across the US and Canada reached out. We got DMs and emails.
That’s when Rigline was born — proudly based in Canada, made for the hardworking drivers of North America.
This isn’t just a product. It’s a purpose.
We’re proud to say that we’re one of the first brands in Canada dedicated to designing floor mats specifically for semi trucks.
We didn’t just want to make something that worked. We wanted to make something that felt deserved.
"You’re not invisible. You deserve comfort, quality, and pride in your ride."
We currently support select truck models — but we’re expanding fast. From Kenworth and Peterbilt to Freightliner, Volvo, and more — we’re building for all of you.
What’s next for Rigline?
Mats were just the beginning. We’ve got a full pipeline of products designed to make life on the road better — practical accessories, cabin upgrades, storage solutions, and more.
We’re also focused on supporting trucker life off the road — investing in initiatives that support driver well-being and families across the US and Canada.
To every trucker reading this — we see you.
You’ve driven through holidays, skipped birthdays, braved wildfires, and crossed frozen highways so others could have what they need.
Rigline exists because of you.
And as long as you’re out there doing the work — we’ll be right there with you. Helping you ride cleaner, more comfortably, and with pride in your rig.
